ooh! such a blurry photo, but you get the general idea. i'm doing a few fancier versions of the skully, i'm hoping to make it a small series called buena muerta. this is just a test. i'll take a clearer photo so you can see the different stitches i used.
this is the first of the other series i'm working on now, which are groups of words that are worked in the same color, and have a similar theme. this one is, of course, pink and ass. i'm thinking of calling it the "shabby ass" series, because the dusty rose color is so like the pinks favored in shabby chic decor.
candyass! as much fun to embroider as it is to say out loud. you can still see a bit of the pink pencil i use to make the original design. it washes out easily, but is very stable while you're working on it. i think the other two words i'm going to use are assclown and asshole.
